The Extra Brain
More of a curse than blessing.
Mainly I like to cock the left
Hemisphere leeward to drink
In the vital sea air while the right
Peruses The Wreck of the Medusa
-Salty quadrasensical rush-
Waking later with sand in my eyes.
When the great organs of publicity ask
What it's like, I ask them to imagine
Two moths swimming rings,
Each mistaking the other
For a source of light.
