Delete your account

Open O Captain, then go to Settings → Account → Delete account. Confirm the prompt to permanently delete the account. This is the fastest and most secure route because it requires an active signed-in session.

We delete the O Captain account, profile, saved poems, and reading history associated with it. Reading preferences stored only on your device can be removed by deleting the app or clearing its storage.

Use the Support form, select Account access or deletion, and send the request from the email address associated with your account. We may ask you to verify ownership before completing the request.

Deleting an account does not automatically withdraw a separately submitted poem. Ask through Support if you want us to delete a submission or its attached PDF.
