It is important
to adjust the dials
and keep on adjusting
(not really). In fact
the idea of adjusting
to anyone turns me off.
I don't like it. I feel
like some other person-sick.
When it's hard not to adjust
reject the whole idea. The whole
idea of adjusting. That turns me off
the idea of any life you can count on.
Can't count on anyone to adjust the dials.
These are ideas from which
we learn how to adjust the adjuster.
Plug in the tone of voice
lying around, waiting to adjust.
Then speak out openly against
what you must adjust to. It isn't
worth it. If you feel the moment give
in to it as it occurs, passing
through different points in time, at
the same time, and arriving move outside
time, then secretly arrive, overflowing with
energy, never willing to adjust.
As I live and breathe, baby doll, it
is not enough: Living & Breathing.
You do not adjust to facts, but
turn from them. Facts that
take shape outside your head. The
turning of the dials to the adjustment factor.
The voice that is signing off in your own head.
It says: GOODBYE, EVERYONE.
Openly and without regret.
