Semantikos/Rejectementa

Balance implies paralysis, like statuary,
our doom so freakish it poses as itself.
Finally we must choose things in which to believe,
in order to know as little as possible about ourselves,
even though the regulations for living and dying are the same:
a certain satisfaction in watching cars going by, for instance,
in different directions, a symmetry that imagines
itself to be the same world that the world imagines.
