An Enormous Dangling Sack-like Net
A large weight lay inside the enormous dangling sack-like net.
When the breeze pressed forth, it swung in the hand; then, bit
by bit, it came to a full stop.
Stooping down, we could see the outlines of the weight: they
were those ofa small building, a country house. It was surrounded
by apple trees in flower. Young men in rough workclothes, with
rough-hewn ways, were climbing in the branches looking for
apples.
The gestures they made in their search, so practical and so
firm, and so inadvertently beautiful, seemed to admonish the
stranger to take heart.
