What does the spider chew out of himself
Leaving in the corners the next day,
And the Navajo who made this blue pot
With snakes twining around it in sick waves?
His hands have left the plunging silences,
He wrings the daily neck of tourist trade.
A crowd of desultory Indians
Watch claw and hammer on parade.
