Aquin, thy servant in the tongue
to sip the honey, justice, tell
proportion, recommend the strong
to a strong course, perfection's - thus
ranging, in time, perfection's match:
union, indwelling, ecstasy
in every love, as mirrors each of each,
But question, sir, in simpler parts
offered as brimming to the event,
superfluous origins: the sad
defections of the final sweet;
question image to image set
as signature to arts of grace;
hold being, for glory, to a loss
dead to the subtlest school's exploit.
