Invitation to the Dance
Here is the Devil in dungarees
(with horns like sickles and hooves like hammers)
who jigs and jokes with a dancing bear
and demands in such an enchanting manner
Will you join the dance?
And there is the Devil in pepper and salt
(with shanks as lank and long as Depressions)
who reels and spoons with a toothless bitch
and reports in such a sporting fashion '
Time for one more dance!
And here am I in my birthday suit
(with eyes like dishes and sighs like diseases)
possibly nowhere, aghast and between,
while the Devils entice in their spicy voices
Will you join the dance?
Oh will you lest he kill you will you
will you join the dance?
