Flux and Flow

Let cottagers' children share the school
Have dancing and all of that.
Just as much chance to play the fool
As the child of a high crowned hat.
Mill hands must have a turn at Latin,
Chimney sweeps a spot of Greek,
Soot should find its way to satin,
Soft raised maidens learn to speak
To lanky lovers from the mill.
The world should be all flux and flow.
And the high house on the hill
Should have no means of saying no.
