Friend

As I was going past Capstan's Well
I met a man in a woolen reefer,
A friend of my friend's.
What was his disposition?
He was bold as a bat
Blind as an egg
Bent as a lion, bald as a bird.
A singular complex of idiosyncratic qualities.
Then Jet me explain, said the man in the reefer,
I too am a friend of a friend and a dream of a dreamer
A classical character often.
And often beioved.
