There Is Something Appealing

There is something appealing

About spindle legged girls

Spindle shanks

Little forward knees

Hippity hop

Skinny

Pink hair

And a sad face

Cold hands

And curly toes

Little skinny

White skin

And shivers

Long arms

And shy fingers

How dy' do

And curtsy

'Wait in the hall

And run

Run and stop

Hippity hop

Spindle shanks

Cold toes

And longing eyes

Don't forget me

Keep me please

In your heart

Love me

Spindle shanks

Goodbye
