Only Death
Only Death
Cannot be altered,
Only Death
Can keep
Silence, where
The footsteps faltered,
And the eyelids sleep.
Time can wake
The longest season,
Stir the barest
Tree with green,
Only Death,
The final treason,
Stills the scene.
