Cemetery

Upon this hill the polished stones
Chant family pride in monotones
Above the inarticulate bones.
The spring drifts down, the swift grass spreads,
While over all a west wind treads,
Heel on the dated figureheads
In scorn of impresarios
Who hawk the spirit's cast-off clothes,
Who cry the dark decaying pose.
