For a Misty Day
There is an ease for me
In a misty day,
When the sea is drowned
And a blind grey
Thickens on the hills,
And every sound
Labors and is lost
In the ground.
In the shrouded garden
Where I pass,
Flowers dawn slowly
From the grass,
Or I can lift my eyes
And see
The dim dreaming soul
Of a tree.
