Bloody Men
Bloody m e n are like bloody b u s e s —
You wait for about a year
And as soon as one approaches your stop
T w o or three others appear.
You look at them flashing their indicators,
O f f e r i n g you a ride.
You're trying to read the destinations,
You haven't m u c h time to decide.
If you m a k e a mistake, there is no turning back.
J u m p off, and you'll stand there and gaze
While the cars and the taxis and lorries 0 go bytrucks
And the minutes, the hours, the days.
