The Lovers: Tarot Key VI

Was hers the blame? Blossoms flare.
Was his? The Garden is lost.

   When will it be found?
He must ascend the mountain;
   he looks toward her.

                                LEWIS TURCO

The mountain is between them.
   She looks to Raphael
hovering above the mount.
   She is searching strength.
She will give what she must give.
   May she give gardens?
Blossoms flare in each meadow-
   they are reflections
of what is forever lost.

   Is it forever?
A moment lasts forever.
There is only the mountain.

  DEATH: Tarot Key XIII

   Who may withstand them,
the dark Rider and the Rose? |
   On the blue river
 a dragon ship sails under
 stallion, Rider, and white Rose.

   Who must go with them,
the dark Rider and the Rose?
  Ancient and infant,
 Bishop and maiden await
the black banner of the Rose.

   Where will they journey,
the dark Rider and the Rose?
   Between two towers
the sun shines. A white stallion
 carries riders to the Rose.
