The First Time

We are given a chance,
among the worst something left
otherwise, hopeful
circumstance.

As I spoke to you,
once,
I loved you
as simply as that.

Now to go back,
T cannot
but going on,
will not forget the first time.

POBTRY

                     You likewise
                     with me must be
                     testament
                     to pain's indifference.

                     We are only careful
                     for such a memory, more
                     careful, I think,
than we ever thought to be.
