Closed Doors

It seems they will be coming back no more!-
The spiders have nailed cobwebs to the door
And flung a flying buttress either way
Against the jambs. They must have gone to stay.
And when they went, I wonder, did they see
How soon their habitation would be taken?
Or that they left so much to husbandry
That needs no doors, that keeps its faith unshaken?
